# Safari 是由 Apple 开发的浏览器，由于标准实现不完整和特性有缺失而广受诟病，甚至因此被称为「当代 IE」。

Durov 较早前发文，称 Telegram Web 即使在移动端也体验良好，但在 Safari 上则数年来都无法达到原生应用的使用体验。他怀疑 Apple 可能故意借 Safari 限制网页应用性能，以迫使用户多下载原生 App 以便其抽成。

文章提到，英国政府机关「竞争及市场管理局」 (Competition and Markets Authority) 对 Apple 在移动端限制浏览器引擎的行为感到担忧，认为此举限制了网页应用的能力，并剥夺了此一创新技术对用户和商业带来的益处。英国政府的原文还提到，除 Safari 外，CMA 近期也将开始调查 Google 在移动浏览器的市场地位、Apple 对 App Store 上云游戏应用的禁制方针，以及 Google Play Store 针对 IAP 支付方式的限制。
